Join the Lesser Slave Watershed Council and the Alberta Native Bee Council for an unBEElievable night! Come build your own bumble bee box and learn about Alberta’s native bumble bees, their habitat needs, and the importance of conservation.

Either join us on Wednesday August 5th in Widewater at the Community Complex or on Thursday, August 6th in High Prairie at the Agriplex!

Registration is only $10 and includes all the materials for your bee box as well as snacks and refreshments!

Participant should bring their own cordless drills if they have one, as well as work gloves and safety glasses.

Help make your yard a more friendly place for our native bees by building your very own bee hotel! You’ll also get the opportunity to learn more about bumble bee identification and reporting tools you can use to help conserve these important native bee species, like how to participate in our Bumble Bee Box Monitoring Program!
