2024 Spring AGM
At the 2024 AGM, directors reported strong growth in outreach and engagement and a new Central Alberta bumble bee guide. Survey results showed members prioritize education, outreach, and habitat restoration. Major updates included progress on native bee monitoring, the Bumble Bee Box Program, and new partnerships for pollinator projects in Waterton and Elk Island. By-laws were amended and the 2024 budget and financial report, highlighting record revenue, were approved.

5 Year Anniversary Mixer & AGM - 2022
The ANBC celebrated its 5th anniversary with a mixer and its annual forum in October, 2022. Speakers from across Canada contributed, including keynote speaker Cécile Antoine, and sponsors from TreeTime.ca, ALCLA Native Plants, Edmonton and Area Land Trust, Arnica Wildflowers, GPRC CRI National Bee Diagnostic Centre donated to the event.
Molly the bee-sniffing dog made an appearance, and a 50/50 raffle meant a total donation to the ANBC of $1000.

2021 AGM and Forum
The AGM was held virtually and included a presentation by Dr. Mindi Summers, Department of Biological Science, University of Calgary, titled: “Bee a Citizen Scientist: Native Bee Research and the Calgary Pollinator Project”.
