ANBC's Native Bee Fest

  • 4825 Mount Royal Gate Southwest Calgary, AB, T3E 6K6 Canada (map)

The Alberta Native Bee Council is thrilled to announce our Native Bee Fest, a day-long celebration dedicated to the pollinators that keep our ecosystems thriving.

We’ll kick things off with a hands-on workshop where you can roll up your sleeves and build your very own bumble bee box, providing a both a home and a monitoring station for our research, right in your own backyard. Join us afterwards for a guided pollinator walk and learn to catch and observe bugs like an expert.

To round out the festivities, we’ve curated a series of insightful talks led by experts in the field. These sessions will cover a variety of topics related to bees in the province.

While we are still working away behind the scenes to finalize the location and specific timing, we wanted to give our community a heads-up to clear their calendars. Registration is not yet open, and further details remain TBD for the moment.

Keep a close eye on this page! We will post the official sign-up link and a full schedule of events as soon as they are confirmed. We can't wait to see you there and celebrate our native pollinators together.
