Talks and Presentations
Let’s Work Together
The Alberta Native Bee Council offers engaging presentations on a variety of topics such as native bee diversity, life cycles, conservation, how to create bee-friendly spaces, etc. These talks are designed to build awareness and understanding of Alberta’s native pollinators and the important roles they play in our ecosystems and align with our mission statement.
Presentations typically run between 30 minutes and 1 hour and can be tailored to suit your audience’s interests or event theme. To ensure a high-quality presentation customized to your needs, we ask for a $250 speaking fee to cover preparation and delivery, as well as reimbursement for mileage to and from in-person events at a rate of $0.55 per kilometre (round trip).
Our presenters are located in Edmonton and Calgary, to help estimate travel costs. Presentation scheduling depends on presenter availability as we have limited capacity for public outreach presentations, so we recommend reaching out well in advance of your preferred date.
We look forward to sharing more about Alberta’s native bees and how you can help support them.
