Special Resolution 2022

Special Resolution to amend the Alberta Native Bee Council bylaws to change the timing of the Annual General Meeting from the fall to the spring

At the AGM on October 22, 2022, Alberta Native Bee Council members will vote on a Special Resolution proposing to make the timing of future AGM’s more flexible.

Specifically, the Board of the Alberta Native Bee Council proposes to change Bylaw 5.4 from

The Annual General Meeting of the Council must be held between September 1 and October 31 in each year at a time and place suitable to the majority of members for the purpose of considering and transacting any business as may properly come before the Board and the members. The Annual General Meeting shall be a General Meeting of the Council.

The business of the Annual General Meeting shall include but not be limited to the following:

  • Reviewing and approving minutes of the previous meeting

  • Reports of officers

  • Financial report

  • Appointment of auditor

  • Reports of committees

  • Unfinished business

  • New business

  • Elections of Directors and Officers

  • Proposed budget

  • Adjournment

To the following:
