Support Native Bees with Native Plants!

One of the best ways to support native bees is by providing habitat for them. This can be as simple as planting native plants! Make sure to plant a diversity of native flowering plants - plants that are different shapes, colours, sizes, and flower at different times of the year. Click the buttons below to view our recommendations for native plants that will give your garden the greatest diversity in support of native bees. The first link is a list of our 12 top recommended plant species, and the second link is a complete list of species we recommend. Neither list is final — we will continue to update both on an ongoing basis as more information becomes available on the preferences of native bees.
